From one operator's spreadsheet to a product
CharterIQ began at Bay Tours & Charters, where it was built to standardise pricing across a working coach fleet and stop margin leaking out of rushed, manual quotes. It now runs as its own product so any operator can price the same disciplined way.
Because it grew out of day-to-day charter operations, the cost model reflects how operators actually price: real running costs, depot dead legs, driver rules, seasons and customer types.
Pricing used to depend on one person and several spreadsheets. The goal of CharterIQ was simple: let anyone on the team produce a consistent, profitable quote in minutes, and see the margin before it is sent.
